The 8th International TGW Austrian Future Cup was a big success. Around 100 gymnasts from 14 countries showed superb youth athleticism at the "Youth World Tournament" yesterday in Linz. The individual victories went to Japan (Kazuki Matsumi, U18) and England (Jay Thompson, U16 and Brinn Bevan, U14). The team competition went to the Youth National Team of England. Their members showed the most spectacular and technically proficient skills and have beat the teams from Japan and Hungary, which got the 2nd and 3rd place.

The future of international gymnastics is in Linz/Austria on 26th November !
5th TGW-Future-Cup, a youth world-event of male gymnastics.

On saturday, the 26th November 2011 a world event of youth male gymnastics will take place in the "Tipps Arena" in Linz ". Around 10 gymnasts from 16 countries are announced to the "8th Int. TGW Austrian Future-Cup". Austrians elite gymnasts meets lot of high class gymnasts from Europe and even the Youth National Team from Japan, Australia and England. It starts at 10am in the morning and the competition with the top teams and the locals from Linz and Austria continues at 3pm in the afternoon.

Four Austrians in the Top Ten.


At Saturday 4th December 2010 most of the European and Japanese top teams, as well as an Australian team met in the Olympic center in Linz. 71 participants from 13 countries showed top level gymnastics and their development on their way to World Championship and European Championship titels.

The team competition could win the English team in front of the Japanese team. 3rd place got to the Belgium team 1. The victories in the 3 age groups went also to these teams. Hamish Carter (U14), Fumiya Kitamura (U16) and William Trood (U18).

The Austrian teams got 4 gymnasts in the top ten range. Alexander Semrad (Wien, 8th), Florian Tusch (Tirol, 9th), Vinzenz Höck (Steiermark, 10th) und Magumed Abuew (NÖ, 10th).
